Tonsil management encompasses the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of tonsil-related issues, including infections (tonsillitis), swelling, and obstruction of airways. Initial care often involves medical therapies such as antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications, and home remedies like warm saline gargles. For persistent conditions like chronic tonsillitis, obstructive sleep apnea, or frequent infections, surgical removal (tonsillectomy) may be advised. Advances in minimally invasive techniques ensure quicker recovery and reduced discomfort.
